Summary
General
Description.
The SMB111EVAL kit is a fully
functional printed circuit board
designed to demonstrate all the
features of the SMB111
Nonvolatile, 4-Ch Programmable
DC/DC converter with integrated
power management. The SMB111EVAL
operates from a +4.2V supply
(2.7V to 5.5V range) and includes
four switch-mode DC-DC
converters. A precision internal
voltage reference permits the
DC-DC converters to be trimmed to
within a 0.5% tolerance. All
output voltage levels are user
programmable through the I2C
serial bus. The SMB111EVAL
manages the power-on/off
sequencing of the DC-DC
converters in addition to output
and battery monitoring, and
margining. Power on/off of the
converters along with many other
programmable features is
permitted through the I2C 2-wire
bus interface.
