Summit to Address
Programmable Power
Control in
Communications Equipment
at Embedded Systems
Conference
|
|
|
|
San
Jose, Calif. - February 28, 2005
- Summit
Microelectronics has
announced that Tom DeLurio,
applications engineering
director, will present a paper
titled, "Set-point Accuracy and
Temperature Effects in
Communications Equipment", at the
Embedded Systems Conference to be
held at Moscone Center in San
Francisco.
Mr. DeLurio's talk is part of the
session, "Specialized Power
Management Applications and
Techniques". The session will
take place on Monday, March 7 at
3:15pm.
Mr. DeLurio will describe the
importance of accurate DC output
control in embedded systems and
as a method for actively
controlling any standard
adjustable DC-DC converter
module, discrete DC-DC PWM
controller or LDO over time and
temperature. The paper will use a
Point-of-Load (POL) reference
design to show how a complete
embedded portable power system
under digital control allows
dynamic control of output voltage
levels.
More information about the
conference is available at
